Card formats: size is not a side note
Before the print monster fires up, one question comes first: which card format do you actually need? The short answer: 9 times out of 10, it's ISO CR80 – the standard size that every wallet, card holder and back pocket already knows. The long answer, with key tags, punch holes and material details, is right here. Promise: by the end you'll know exactly which format puts your brand into your customers' wallets. 🐉
ISO CR80 – the top dog of card formats
CR80 (also known as ID-1) is the globally standardized credit card size: 85.6 × 54 mm with rounded corners. That's exactly why it's our default for loyalty cards, membership cards and gift cards – whether in PVC, wood, carbon or metal.
Fits everywhere
Every wallet, card sleeve and card holder is built around CR80. Your card doesn't end up in a drawer – it goes straight into the wallet, right where brands live.
Full design canvas
Roughly 46 cm² per side for your logo, colors and message – printable on both sides. Plenty of room for big branding, yet compact enough that nothing gets lost.
Compatible with everything
Card printers, POS systems, badge holders and lanyard clips all work with the CR80 size. You stay flexible – loyalty card today, employee badge tomorrow.
